Pictures #228 thru #233 This update shows how to take care of surface rust under the rear deck area. The factory uses very little paint in this area and when moisture condenses here it will surface rust sooner than other inside areas. "Old Guy Scott" sands the remaining paint off and keeps the bare metal soaked with rust remover. After the rust is gone he soaks it with metal prep. The last step is with final clean and zinc spray coating. Photo #231 shows this part finished in centari white. Photos #232 and # 233 reminds you to complete the door jams.
