Pictures #415 thru #425

First, "Old Guy Scott" fits the sills and repairs any weak sheet metal holes, Photos #415 & #416.

Photo #417 shows the tack board strips "Old Guy Scott" made from door panel making cardboard. He says the tack board kits are thick plastic and don't hold tasks very well. In photos #418 & #419  you see tack boards needing to be laminated in some areas. Photos #420 and #421 shows the tack boards are now flush with the panel's edge. You need these flush so the wind lace won't end up being wavy later. Photo #425 shows "Old Guy Scott"  using a scrap piece of wind lace making sure it will lay right for tacking. In photo #422 thru #424 you see the header tack board installed with weather stripping glue and 1/16th inch rivets, this makes it super strong to hold the headliner permanently.
